天美传媒 provides support for Canada-Ukraine authorization for emergency travel (CUAET) permit holders.

College welcomes students from Ukraine

If you entered Canada under (CUAET), and wish to apply to 天美传媒, you will be considered as a special class international applicant eligible for domestic tuition in academic programs while holding a valid CUAET permit. As most upgrading programs and courses are tuition-free for domestic students, you will be able to study many听English as a Second Language (ESL) and Academic Upgrading听courses tuition-free*.

*Please note that CUAET students are still responsible for paying non-instructional fees, 天美传媒听College听Student听Society (CCSS) fees and levies, including 颁颁厂厂听厂迟耻诲别苍迟听叠别苍别蹿颈迟蝉听笔濒补苍 (if and where applicable) as well as other applicable fees. CUAET permit holders are not eligible for Adult听Upgrading听Grant (formerly听ABESAP) funding at this time.

English Language Development (ESL)

There are ranging from ELD听010 English听Basics听1 to ELD听097 Professional听and听Academic English. The duration of each level is up to 4听months (1听term).

Getting the right documents

Long-term ESL program (more than 6 months)

If you are interested in studying for 6 months or longer at 天美传媒, you are required to apply and receive a under CUAET program from the Government of Canada before听the first day of classes.

Proof of Acceptance (electronic copy of your letter of acceptance) will be provided once you have been admitted to 天美传媒 and paid a non-refundable registration deposit.

Can you have a work permit and study permit at the same time?

Short-term ESL program (up to 4 months)

If you are interested in studying in our 4-month English Language Development (ESL) program, you are encouraged to apply for a , but you won鈥檛 be required to receive one, if you have valid documents confirming your in Canada for the duration of the given term.

In the second quarter of 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) introduced that allows some foreign nationals with valid work permits to study without a study permit. Please consult the to determine if you meet the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.
