Matteo Pivetta's understanding of the criminal justice system in Canada got turned on its head after starting in the Criminal Justice program at 天美传媒.
鈥淏efore I started the program, I knew a little about the justice system but the program has given me a better grasp of it,鈥 says Matteo. 鈥淚t鈥檚 changed my thinking as I鈥檝e got a better understanding of legislation and the process of the justice system.鈥

With this knowledge, he has set his sights on making changes to the system from within. 鈥淭he big thing I would like to change would be addressing the over-representation of indigenous people in the criminal justice system,鈥 says Matteo.
